Mischievous Kiss Ep 11: Love drama galore!

Episode 11 has to be one of the best episodes by far! What could beat the introduction of another Oh Ha Ni fan in our already complicated love…pentagon?

Anyways, Kim Gi Tae sure has the guts to ask Ha Ni out, especially since the whole school knows that she has this huge thing for Seung Jo. Well, props to him for being brave enough to confess…very publicly. He does have excellent timing. Just what the show needed to speed up the love drama and start instigating some action from our all too calm and laid-back boys. Like always, Bong Joon Gu quickly took the bait and immediately treated Gi Tae as an enemy. Who wouldn’t, if you find some guy trying to make a move on your girl? (Unless you’re Baek Seung Jo I guess >.>).

But, I don’t think we cay say Seung Jo completely disregarded Gi Tae’s sudden feelings for Ha Ni. I am pretty sure I detected surprise and jealousy from his eyes when our new “couple” was discussing the activities for their date. But, he could very well have been analyzing Ha Ni’s actions, trying to figure out her motives and what her next move may be. For the sake of the drama, let’s all hope for the former rather than the later. ^^

And I can see Seung Jo’s mother enjoys playing matchmaker for all the young folk in the drama. She’s so cute when she’s “researching” (aka: stalking) and plotting ways to get Ha Ni and Seung Jo together, even though her plans generally have fruitless or even a counter effect. Don’t worry, Seung Jo’s mom. I’m sure the vast majority of us are on you’re side, wishing for Ha Ni and Seung Jo to quickly get together…but not too quickly; we still want to see more drama and comic relief!

But, is it just me, or was the ending extremely confusing? I loved how Baek Eun Jo become a warm gentleman and has stopped bullying Ha Ni. However, he seemed too nice, and too overly prepared in the little stamp hunt at the end. Also, what exactly was he doing, hiding behind the tree when Ha Ni fell asleep dreaming that she was kissing Seung Jo? And did that kiss ever happen? If so, where did Seung Jo disappear to? We’ll all have to wait for the highly-anticipated episode 12 to find out!

Character Update: Yoon He Ra and Bong Joon Gu

I really hated Yoon He Ra this episode more than previous ones. She seemed more stuck up and full of herself, confident that she is a better match for Seung Jo than Ha Ni. That bouncy, excited atmosphere radiating from her when she found out that Ha Ni was “dating” Kim Gi Tae and the fact that she basically treats Ha Ni as air was too much for me to tolerate. But, I guess you can’t blame a girl for acting like that, especially when it seems like you are so close to winning your man’s heart because the annoying parasite who’s been clinging on to him might disappear off the face of the earth very soon. If I was in her shoes, I’d probably be just as exuberant. BUT, I’m not am I? And we’re all rooting for Ha Ni, aren’t we? Well, since that’s the case, I think this picture fits He Ra’s stuck up personality VERY well. This ruffled, uncivilized appearance really suits her, especially in this episode. Good job make-up artist! šŸ˜€

Again, we are reminded of Jong Gu’s sad love story full of broken hearts and one-sided affections. Unfortunately, I don’t think receiving Wang Kyung Soo’s love advice was a good idea, especially since all of this so-called theories sprouted from his training with Ha Ni (just look how…successful her love life is!). So far, Ha Ni’s Love Training sessions have produced such results: boundless, unpredictable events that cause embarrassment and rumors; futile attempts to win the other person’s affections; and (Joon Gu’s story is probably the best of all) a boring, soporific confession. But, you have to hand it to him: he is one dedicated man. And the fact that Ha Ni has not fallen for such a loyal pursuer further shows how much she loves Seung Jo. Reguardless, no matter how desperate Joon Gu has become, his confession scene was, without a doubt, an excellent source of entertainment. I just feel so sorry for the poor guy because no matter how hard he tries, we all know that Ha Ni will never become his. What a depressing ending for such a love-struck teenager.

Photo Gallery–Photo Recap: I’m trying something new out here. I took some pictures from their little “Stamp Hunt” extravaganza that I feel like sharing. Plus, I’m a little too lazy to write a full-fledged analysis about this segment. Well, after all, a picture is worth a thousand words! Enjoy my lovely readers~

Ha Ni and Eun Jo are lost in the forest. No food, no water, no warmth, and no cell reception. What to do, what to do?

Oh, but look! Eun Jo saves the day by pulling out a blanket, and food and water! You guys still have a chance at survival!

Oh no! Scary noise and rustling of leaves has scared Ha Ni. But don't worry, Eun Jo will protect you! (Eun Jo is so cute with such a serious expression ^^)

Thank god! It's only Seung Jo. Seung Jo has come to save the day yet again! It's like a dream come true: a prince in shining armor comes out in the middle of the night to rescue you from your...doom~ Why doesn't this happen in real life? >.<

The last scene at the end of the episode. It really got me wondering what in the world is happening here. Ha Ni just woke up from her dream of kissing Seung Jo, but the dream feels so real that she has a sort of tingling sensation on her lips (presumably because of Seung Jo). But, Eun Jo is standing there, looking pretty shocked and out of breath. WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED HERE?! @.@ Something's wrong with this picture...

Mischievous Kiss Ep 3

Loved it~ I personally find it amazing how this drama manages to find a balance between complexity and a fast pace. A plot line that moves too slowly only brings boredom; a plot line that lacks predicaments only initiates disinterest (Can anyone guess what I’m referring to?).

So far, I’m liking the interactions between Baek Seung Jo, Oh Ha Ni, and Bong Joon Gu: Seung Jo and his superficial apathetic attitude towards everything; Ha Ni and her enthusiasm/determination to give Seung Jo a piece of her mind; Joon Gu and his devotion towards Ha Ni/efforts to antagonize and infuriate the all too passive Seung Jo. The fight to give Ha Ni a piggyback ride in the beginning definitely foreshadowed future conflicts between these three…intriguing characters.

As for the sports competition, I loved how it incorporated both comic relief and drama into one scene. Lots of cheering, screaming, smiles, and short tempers to illustrate just how distant Class 1 students are from Class 7 students–the studious Class 1 and the easy-going Class 7 couldn’t be more…similar? Apparently even the serious Class 1 students are able to laugh from the bottom of their hearts when you take grades and other measurements of academic excellence out of the picture. But unfortunately, I don’t think we can say the same for Class 7 students -_-”

The end of the episode seemed to focus on a lot of Ha Ni’s personal emotions towards her new life with the Baek family. Although drunk, she managed to vent to the whole family about how she disapproves of Seung Jo. But really, does she actually hate him? …Nah, I don’t think so. This is probably just her new method of expressing her love towards him ^^ And look on the bright side: even though she has a one-sided love, at least her…future in-laws…approve of her and welcomes her company. She’s even starting to get through to Seung Jo’s cold-hearted little brother Eun Jo…through teaching him how to jump rope >.> Now, if only Seung Jo would look past her “stupid and thick-skinned” qualities and accept her, Ha Ni’s life would be complete~

Random Corner–Yellow feels like going on a tangent! ^^
^ This is from the relay event in the sports competition (event 3 of 3).Ā  Anyways, dudes (and dudettes), is it just me, or does Kim Hyun Joong have a killer smile? I definitely melted the first time I saw this. But, now that I look at it more closely, his eyes seem to have a mischief flair as if he is mentally egging her on. They kind of remind me of Mike He’s eyes in Devil Beside You (excellent Taiwanese drama based on the shoujo manga Akuma de Souro by Takanashi Mitsuba. I highly recommend it even though it’s a little dated). And, in my opinion, Mike He did a fabulous job of playing a dangerous yet intimate delinquent. No doubt, Kim would likewiseĀ  make an excellent devil/vampire, especially with his cold and aloof charm and flower boy appearance. I can definitely see him playfully yet mercilessly crushing the hearts of many girls in a similar drama.

Down With Love Episode 6: Itā€™s the start of something new~

“Actually, the people who don’t like to bother others, and don’t say anything afterward, are the hardest to figure out. Because people who wanna do something for you have no idea what to do.” – Yang Guo

The reappearance of Yang Guo’sĀ father, Yang BoTong, has started the beginnings of a feud between YuPingĀ and Yang Guo, causing her to turn more to KeZhong for aid and support.

Although the return of a long lostĀ father would be a joyous event, his appearance brought more financial headaches on our Yang sisters. For years, Yang BoTong has been making a living as a famous interior designer, as well as persuading his female clients to buy some of his supernatural accessories to increase one’s luck and wealth.

Shortly after the family reunion, Yang BoTongĀ runs into legal issues; the prosecutor is none other than one of YuPing’s wealthy clients.

Thus sparks the beginnings of a possible feud between Yang GuoĀ and YuPing, our unrequited couple. Although this may appear to be the standard argument and frustrated mood between a couple, it is not without meaning. Yang Guo, being the kind-hearted and devoted daughter, is eager to take her father’s debt as her own and pay it all back. However, YuPingĀ believes that she will be committing many years of her life to this task, and will still be unable to pay back the debt. Unwilling to see her suffer because of her father, YuPingĀ decides to return to his original cold-hearted lawyer personnel, refusing to answer to Yang Guo’s cries of help even though deep down he wants to help her in any way he can.

Both individuals have made sacrifices and actively complicated their lives in order to help their loved ones; Yang GuoĀ to protect her father financially and YuPingĀ to rid nuisances in Yang Guo’s life. Clearly, both characters express the same kind of love, but in different ways and towards different individuals.

However, YuPing’sĀ new cruel treatment and lack of concern towards Yang GuoĀ is causing her to turn to her friend: KeZhong. While YuPingĀ persists in his refusal to aid Yang Guo, KeZhongĀ readily steps up and loans Yang GuoĀ the necessary amount to pay of her father’s debt while giving her all the time necessary to pay him back, (no interest included). This is a dream come true for Yang Guo. And because of this, will we see a development between Yang GuoĀ and KeZhongĀ that involves something more than just seeking advice from a close friend? How will YuPingĀ react to this potential development? Will he accept it or fight back and confess to Yang Guo? We may soon find out in the next episode.

Highlights from the show:

All tied up…again

Deeming her father a troublesome man not worthy of her trust, Yang Duo decides to tie herself to her dad for a 24/7 surveillance, no exceptions. And bathroom breaks? She forces one of the younger lawyers to accompany her old man. Definitely a loving relationship between father and daughter.

Friendship and womanhood

In preparation for her business trip to ChinaĀ with KeZhong, Yang GuoĀ makes her friend YanLingĀ bring her a suitcase in the middle of the night. Although Yang GuoĀ is expecting an empty luggage to fill with her necessities, she is in for a surprise, as YanLingĀ fills it with some “necessities” that Yang Guo is currently lacking.
Yang Guo: Hey, aren’t you tired of acting with Xiao Lei (Friend’s boyfriend)? You guys took 30 minutes just to say good-bye! I thought the person going abroad to China for work was you, not me.
YanLing: You’re the one to talk. You suddenly told me to lend you a suitcase. I was planning to go to a hot spring in Yang Ming Mountain with Xiao Lei.
Yang Guo: Are you crazy? It’s so hot and you guys want to go a hot spring?! *opens suitcase and finds a lot of lingerie; gasps and stares* What are you giving to me?!
YanLing: Don’t say that your best friend doesn’t support you. These “war armor” are for you, free of charge! Hope you’re successful!
Yang Guo: *picks up the thong* Eh, wearing this to “war”, you’ll just capture a shadow (literal translation. She basically says the only thing you’ll get is evilness).
YanLing: *gasp* Stop pretending to be so innocent. Besides KeZhong, there’s no other guys you can make a move on. Why don’t you think. You were just recently employeed, and just based on experience and capability, you’re thinking about going abroad already? Stop dreaming! But, he’s taking you with him. Isn’t this obvious enough? You should pursue this!
Yang Guo: Aiya! Stop forcing me to make a fool of myself. How could he be interested in me?
YanLing: Hey. That’s the perspective your Dad should have. Why is he so nice to you if he’s not interested? What a joke! How come he didn’t let me borrow $1 million TWD ($31,000) for me to spend? And, if you really do become his wife, you won’t have to pay it back!
Yang Guo: Aiya! That’s impossible. It’s not like I don’t know that the kind of girls he likes is totally different from me.
YanLing: Stop being so unsure. Who cares if you’re his type. It doesn’t matter! What matters is if there’s feeling! Aiya. Rest assured, with me as your general, you’ll definitely win. Concerning whether or not you’re his type… *picks up a lingerie*
Yang Guo: *scratches head and looks away*
YanLing: …that’s just the excuse men come up with, but…here, catch *tosses it to Yang Guo*
Yang Guo: Argh! *takes the lingerie off her head and throws it on the bed*
YanLing: *rummages in the luggage* As long as there’s feeling, fireworks will immediately start popping out! This is what all the ancient philosophers said: what matters is the time and location. This is it! *shows off a pink, translucent lingerie*
Yang Guo: *does a double take (disgusted)*
YanLing: Presenting the “Ideal Love Outfit”.Ā I was wearing this when I seduced Xiao Lei.
Yang Guo: Oh *still disgusted*
YanLing: Let me tell you. At midnight, right when KeZhong falls asleep, wear this and race into his arms while crying.
Yang Guo: Yeah, right. I’m not crying.
YanLing: You HAVE to cry! You have to cry and say: *cuddlesĀ and viciously shakes Yang Guo* “So scary! Brother Qi, I just had a really scary nightmare! I’m so scared!” And then, open your eyes, stare at him, and blink your eyes.
Yang Guo: *blinks eyes*
YanLing: And, if you can, squeeze out some tears. And then, I won’t believe you if you say he doesn’t have any feelings for you! And then… *moves in for a kiss*
Yang Guo: What are you doing?! You’re so disgusting! *shoves her off of her*
YanLing: You’re so useless! Good thing I came prepared!
Yang Guo: You have more?!
YanLing: The “Tiger-skin outfit”! This suits your style, right? And… *takes out the whip*

Down With Love Episode 5: Hyping up the Love

Yang Guo tries out her new hair clip

The drama essence present in any Taiwanese drama appears again in this episode. Teeming with emotions of love, hatred, and anger, the characters question the meaning and expression of different kinds of love, from parental love, to romantic love, to love between friends. A limited amount of comic relief was incorporated in this episode.Ā Ā A love hate-relationship has blossomed between YuPingĀ and Yang Guo. Although YuPingĀ is attracted to Yang Guo, he refuses to acknowledge his affections, mainly due to the fact that he believes she’s a lesbian. Instead, YuPingĀ tries to keep Yang GuoĀ close to him by making ridiculous and spontaneous requests. And with a little criticism and mockery, Yang Guo always leaves confused and frustrated.

Perhaps this is YuPingā€™s way of showering her with love. Perhaps itā€™s his way of hiding his affections by not acknowledging them. He pushes Yang Guo away from him, but keeps her close enough for him to see her again if needed.

Yang GuoĀ also has a way of revealing her feelings towards YuPing. She is immensely interested in YuPingā€™s love life. Although she disapproves of him dating six girls at once, she defends the girls whenever she can, most likely to retaliate YuPingā€™s inhumane treatment towards them. She immediately becomes curious at any HuiFan-relatedĀ news. Good thing that she does not need to search far, because the news comes to her. Just the one of the many privileges a person gets from being close friends with the friends of a star. In addition, although Yang Guo hates YuPing because she canā€™t understand him, she does not push him away when heā€™s trying to make up with her. And YuPing, in turn, is willing to do anything for her forgiveness.

As for KeZhong, he is starting to have more appearances in the drama, and has clearly established himself as the individual to seek help from whenever faced with a love dilemma. Perhaps, because of his aloofĀ but kind personality, heĀ resembles a care-taker, and is thusĀ is easy to talk to about deep and personal feelings.

For instance, in a conversation with KeZhong, although YuPingĀ seems to be a nuisance in Yang Guo’sĀ life, he actually understands a lot about her. He reveals that, in his perspective, Yang GuoĀ is a caring and thoughtful individual (he definitely rarely reflects this perspective in his interactions with her). KeZhongĀ sensed that YuPingĀ has become different after HuiFanĀ left; that YuPingĀ might haveĀ a deeper understanding of Yang GuoĀ that borderlines between a close friendship and a love relationship.

Yang Guo runs into her long lost father, and later brings her sister Yang Duo to meet him

Ella Chen is extremely talented in developing the complexity of her character Yang Guo. Yang GuoĀ sympathizes and quickly forgives people; sheā€™s easily amused and always brightens the mood with her humor and naivety. Despite the humor and comic relief she provides, Yang GuoĀ is serious and whole-hearted in her relationships (hence, she disapproves of YuPingĀ cheating on six girls at once). While most would hold a grudge against their parents, Yang GuoĀ is able to forgive her father even after he orphaned and left them with a huge debt. Father and daughter are reunited in a tearful, sympathetic reunion years after separation. One would have to struggle to ignore the empathy felt from watching the lead actress struggling to speak and hold back tears as her face contorts and her voice cracks.

However, HuiFanĀ is different. Unaware of his change of heart, she returns to Taiwan in attempt to get back together with YuPing. Although she states that YuPingĀ is her encouragement and the reason why she pushes herself in the acting realm, YuPingĀ remains cold and indifferent. However, towards the end, his expressions change: he becomes annoyed, and seems to be mentally questioning why heā€™s having this conversation with HuiFan.

HuiFanĀ is unable to convince him and ends up sounding flustered, yet confident that heā€™ll choose her. However, when he doesnā€™t choose her, she cracks because she cannot accept reality. Despite her position as the-persistent-ex-girlfriend-that-anyone-can-hate-with-a-burning-passion, Chen ZiHanĀ cannot make the audience sympathize with her. She cannot cry whole-heartedly when the situation calls for it. Instead, she complains and rejects reality with a broken heart; she still hopes to get back together with YuPingĀ even after his repeated rejections. HuiFanĀ is a simple character: although she is persistent and stubborn, sheā€™s also fragile and powerless, and desperately in love with YuPing, which is hypocritical and despicable of her.

Highlights from the show

The Epic Break up

YuPing calls out Yang Guo to help him break up with his

One of the few comic relief moments in this episode. YuPingĀ finds himself in a relationship with an overly enthusiastic and clingyĀ woman who wears exaggerated, flowery clothing. YuPingĀ is clearly uncomfortable in every interaction he has with her, and purposely ignores her if possible. But, how can you possibly begin to distance yourself to someone who’s so obsessed with you that she’s already planned out your future with her? DWL offers a possible solution: call up your best girl-friend and present her as your actual girlfriend.

“Wanna come to my house after work?”

YuPing attempts to convince KeZhong that hiring Yang Guo as a maid will be a big mistake

KeZhongĀ offers Yang GuoĀ another job: a maidĀ at his house. YuPingĀ envisions Yang GuoĀ cleaning KeZhong’sĀ house. However, there is a twist: he imagines Yang Guo, in a cute maid outfit,Ā massaging KeZhongĀ as he relaxes along with other various sexual implications. As he comes out of his daydream, YuPingĀ attempts to convince KeZhongĀ that hiring Yang Guo as a maid will be the biggest mistake of his life:
YuPing: NO! *grabs Yang Guoā€™s mouth*
Yang Guo: What are you doing? *swiping away YuPingā€™s germs*
YuPing: KeZhong, you canā€™t be serious about making Yang GuoĀ go to your house to clean, right? Last time at my house, she was cleaning the drapes. You know how she cleaned them? With the vacuum cleaner! The whole thing came crashing down! My God! And another time, sheā€™s cleaning the windows, she broke the frame. And you know what happened? It came crashing down on the ObasanĀ who lives downstairs! And is the Obasan still alive?
Yang Guo: Wei! I already fixed it, ok? And that Obasan is still aliveā€¦
YuPing: I donā€™t care. And you know what else? I have a huge statue in my house. You remember right?
KeZhong: Yeah. David.
YuPing: That statueā€™s hand fell off! I think your house has more precious items than mine. You donā€™t want your priceless antiques to turn intoā€¦GARBAGE, right?!
Yang Guo: Wei! I already explained the statue thing. And you accepted the excuse!
YuPing: Then what about my socks?
Yang Guo: The cat took it.
YuPing: And that underwear with a hole in it?
Yang Guo: A cockroach ate it.
YuPing: Andā€¦oh yeah. Once she was washing my Cashmereā€¦She washed my Cashmere until it shrank toā€¦
Yang Guo: AAAAHH! *picks up tray and hits YuPing*
Note: The whole tray part actually didnā€™t happen; it was all part of Yang Guoā€™s imagination. We have no idea how the conversation really ended.

Down With Love: Episode 4

Ella delivering huge teddy bears

Cute isn’t it? Don’t be so quick to agree, because these teddy bears are actually criminals in disguise. While on her wayĀ to deliver two gigantic teddy bears to the many girlfriends that YuPing is dating, Yang Guo gets flagged down by a police officer. For what you may ask? Because the teddy bears are human-size, and therefore must wear the same safety equipment as a human. (Note to self: Whenever the need to transport over-sized stuffed animals arise, make a friend transport it. This will save you 1. time, 2. an interaction with the police, and 3. the need to pay a ticket.).

Emotional update of the characters: YuPing’s new emotions are becoming overwhelming and are driving him crazy. Yang Guo is getting annoyed and furious with YuPing’s unpredictable behavior, causing her to stay away from him and seek advise from his friend KeZhong. And her sister Yang Duo? Well, she’s screaming her head off that Yang Guo has quit her high-paying job šŸ™‚

Yang Duo’s appearance has increased in this episode of the drama, adding to the love and humor that Down With Love already represents. Although not as famous and well-known as her counterpart Ella Chen (who plays Yang Guo), Kelly Zhang also excells in facial expressions, portraying the role of a loving, yet strict sister. It seems like brilliant exaggerated facial expressions, and the ability to turn an awkward situation into a humorus memory runs in the Yang family.

Both the opening and ending songs were well-chosen, as well as well-written, to fit the need and mood of the drama. Jerry Yan’s song Just Want to Rely On You (å°±ęƒ³č³“č‘—ä½ ) is a bouncy, up-beat song about relying on another person. This fits YuPing’s personality quite well now. Although he refuses to acknowledges his growing attraction to Yang Guo, he clearly wants to keep her close to him as a companion as well as for his own amusement (The children have gone back to live with their mother, but not before suggesting that Yang Guo should marry YuPing. Foreshadowing the ending? Possibly.).

S.H.E’s new songĀ  Only To Love You (åŖē‚ŗꄛäøŠä½ ) is also an excellent fit as the ending theme song to this series. By referencing elements of nature, such as butterflies and flower petals, the song twists beauty as well as meaning into music. It addresses the need to understand a person, an individual’s transformation in one’s stream of thoughts and actions, and a mutual understanding between the individuals after interacting with that special someone. A meaningful song incorporating both the beauty of the trio’s voices and the presence of a male rapper to remind the audience that a relationship needs two individuals for success.

In the context of the drama, the meaning of this song is not entirely clear at this point. However, it further implies the growing relationship between Yang Guo and YuPing, especially YuPing’s growing dependence and eagerness to spend time with her (I’m sure that only a few unique individuals would actually sacrifice their public image and become humiliated in order to see that special someone happy).

To buy the CD? Or not to buy? That is the question…

Yang Duo ponders the costs and benefits of purchasing a CD

This scene does an excellent job in showing Yang Duo’s stingy personality. Although people probably won’t think twice about purchasing a CD, Yang Duo is different. A CD equals a worthless materialistic possession that is not necessary for survival, and thus is a waste of money, says Yang Duo. But, despite repeatedly stating this obvious fact to herself, she cannot leave the store, or even the aisle, without going back to look at the CD. After an hour, Yang Duo leaves, purchasing the CD, but only because the store manager began to suspect her of shoplifting, and gets her vengeance by disorganizing the whole aisle. Way to go, Duo! (NOTE: Yang Duo calculates that the CD, which costs $365 TWD is equivalent to: 1 bag of rice ($130 TWD), 2 tubes of toothpaste ($100 TWD), and 5 boxes of eggs ($135 TWD).)

I must have those free tissues!!!

The chase for...free tissues

After buying that CD, Yang Duo hears that people are passing out FREE TISSUES! But, ironically, as she makes her way closer to the organizers, whom so happen to be Yang Guo and YuPing, they bail and the event stops. Refusing to give up, especially after spending $365 TWD on a CD, Yang Duo pursues the duo in an attempt to claim her share of tissues.
Yang Guo: Why is my sister here?! *runs to go find YuPing* You can go now. We’re almost done, so I can do the rest.
*evacuates*
People waiting in line: They’re gone! I didn’t even get one šŸ˜¦ This is outrageous.
Yang Duo: IT’S OVER?! WHAT?! BUT, I HAVEN’T GOTTEN ANYTHING YET! I wouldn’t bother if I didn’t spend money to buy that CD. Meanie. I’LL DEFINITELY GET YOU! * O * *rolls up sleeves* STOP! *chases after Yang Guo and YuPing*
Yang Guo: Let’s go! Hurry up!
YuPing: What?
Yang Guo: Hurry up!
YuPing: Why do we need to walk so fast all of a sudden?
Yang Guo: My sister is behind us!
YuPing: Miss Yang?
Yang Guo: Yup
*YuPing’s imagination*
Yang Duo: My turn. So, do you know what the annoying-est thing in my life is? Is it an itch? Infection? Or a weird smell? Actually, they’re all wrong. The most annoying-est thing in my life is YOU, thisĀ  cold-hearted lawyer XIANG YUPING! WRITE IT DOWN! *end imagination*
YuPing: D: HURRY UP!!!
Yang Guo: EXCUSE US! PARDON US! EXCUSE US!!!
Yang Duo: STILL RUNNING?! *drops down to pick up free stuff Yang Guo and YuPing are throwing* Mine…mine…
Yang Guo: EXCUSE US! PARDON US! THERE’S A KILLER ON THE LOOSE!
Yang Duo: STOP RUNNING! *drops down to pick up free stuff* …Strange. Where did they disappear to?
*YuPing and Yang Guo hide behind a huge pillar*
YuPing: *panting* Scary. This is more stressful than the time we got kidnapped.
Yang Guo: *laughs*
YuPing: *hits her mouth* What are you laughing at?
Yang Guo: This is funny. How’d you think of throwing free stuff on the ground? Do you think she’s a pigeon? *makes pigeon noises* By the way, why are you so scared of my sister seeing you?
YuPing: Well, whatever happens, I’m still her boss. *holds up a packet of tissue* It’s embarrassing for a boss handing out things like this.
Yang Guo: Hmm… Yup, makes sense. Yup, that’d be a shock.
YuPing: What about you? Why did you run away from your sister?
Yang Guo: Well, I haven’t told my sister that I’ve quit. Don’t misunderstand; I don’t regret it. I’m just not sure how to tell her yet.
YuPing: I…
Yang Guo: So hungry. Let’s go eat lunch. Didn’t you say you’d treat me for lunch? Aren’t you hungry?
YuPing: Let’s go. I’ll carry that for you.
Yang Guo: *hands over box of tissue-packages* Let’s eat hot pot!
YuPing: *throws some packages onto the floor*
Yang Guo: Hey, stop throwing. I’m not a pigeon *picks up packages anyways, both walks out into the open*
Yang Duo: HEY YOU TWO PASSING OUT FREE-STUFF! STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE, AND DON’T MOVE! *gasp* BOSS?! *runs over for a closer look*
YuPing: *drops box*
Yang Guo: *hides behind YuPing, covers her face with packets of tissue*
Yang Duo: *pulls away packets of tissue; gasp* YANG GUO?!
Yang Guo: *screams and runs*
Yang Duo: *screams and chases after Yang Guo* WHY ARE YOU HERE?!
YuPing: *covers face up with packets of tissue*
